Bollywood filmmaker Karan Johar has been facing the brunt for his old controversial statements for quite some time now. Days after being on the receiving end of criticism for his old confession of wanting to ‘murder Anushka Sharma’s career,’ before it even started, another video of his has resurfaced the internet. Standing on the stage of AIB, the director is seen taking a dig at Ranveer Singh’s Bollywood career, which has left the internet disgusted.
Posted by Deepika Padukone’s fanpage, in the viral video, Karan can be seen saying that he wouldn't say that the Cirkus actor does shit films but the last good thing Ranveer was in, was the actress, hinting at their ‘not-so-secret’ relationship at the time. While the audience and the celebrities present during the show burst out laughing, netizens have been left uncomfortable with Karan’s crass humour. Talking about Ranveer and Deepika, the couple fell in love with each other while working together for Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s 2012 movie Ram-Leela.
